AIM for Scale Livestock Technical Panel Convening

Professor Yaw Nyarko joined the AIM for Scale livestock innovation package convening held in London, UK, on 4–5 June. In his capacity as Vice Chair of the Advisory Panel, Professor Yaw engaged across several aspects of the convening. He set the tone for the discussion and agenda through his opening remarks and offered insights into the importance of government and multilateral institutions investing in livestock innovations. He also led a session on leveraging economics to rigorously learn from and experiment with various aspects of the innovation package in order to ensure scalability. Professor Nyarko closed the convening by recognising the efforts of the participants and package developers, and encouraged continued discussion and deliberation beyond the event to support the package's ongoing improvement.
