The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in collaboration with the World Monuments Fund, hosted a compelling discussion entitled “What Makes a Cultural Landmark? Perspectives from Ethiopia, Ghana, Cameroon, and Uganda.” The event brought together experts, artists, and architects to explore the preservation of African heritage sites. Professor Yaw Nyarko presented his “Biography of a People” research on Ghana’s cultural heritage.
