CBDCs Master Class and Lectures in Angola

Overview:

After attending the “Digital Technologies, Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), and Economic Development” Conference at NYU New York, Chairman of Angola’s Sovereign Wealth Fund Armando Manuel invited Professor Raša Karapandža and Professor Yaw Nyarko to speak the public and private sector finance community in Angola to implement blockchain technologies for the central bank, financial institutions, and businesses. Presented the “CTED Volta Initiative” to policymakers and business leaders in Angola. Engaged with stakeholders from Angola’s financial sector on the potential implementation of blockchain and CBDCs to enhance economic development.
