Call For Papers: The Third Conference on Economic Policy and Research in the UAE and Beyond

Overview: Professor Yaw Nyarko and the consortium of universities have hosted this annual conference in Abu Dhabi for 3 years. You are cordially invited to submit your research papers for presentation at the third edition, with the theme “Economic Policy and Research in the UAE and Beyond,” which will be hosted by the American University of Sharjah on April 20 and 21, 2026. The two-day conference is co-organized by the UAE Ministry of Economy, American University of Sharjah, New York University Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates University, and Zayed University. The conference will provide an opportunity for presenting novel research findings in Economics and Finance, as well as discussing current challenges and opportunities, with a focus on the UAE economy. The conference will enable conversations between policymakers, industry leaders, and academics.
The scientific committee will review submissions in all areas of Economics and Finance through December 31, 2025. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by February 1, 2026. Authors are invited to submit their papers in PDF format to econ_conference@aus.edu. There are no registration fees. The conference organizers will cover lunch, dinner, and coffee breaks. For traveling presenters, accommodation is complimentary for two nights. This conference is generously sponsored by the American University of Sharjah.
